We're halfway through January already! How you doing on your new goals for the year? Taking your daily photos? Using the daily prompts?
I'll admit that I haven't used the prompts everyday. Most of the time I pick up my camera with the intent to focus on the prompt of the day, and then I notice the kids doing something or remember something significant that "marks the day" and focus on that subject instead. I think the biggest idea when you tackle a Project 365 is to be forgiving of yourself and allow yourself to break a rule (or two, or three). Remember why you started this. No one said this has to be perfect - just make it real.
My kids and I were looking back through the first half of photos from my last Project 365 (boy, am I glad I printed those... wish I could remember to print the rest!) and I realized that one simple photo can hold countless memories and joy. Even for a 5 year old. So keep on shooting, even on those busy, I'd-like-to-forget-this kinda days... you won't regret it.
